The press service of the Akimat of Astana has reported that a number of contracted road construction organisations will be forced to re-do the work at their own expense.
It is reported that during a spring inspection, defects were discovered on several streets where repair work had been carried out from 2021 to 2022, specifically during the period when Kulginov was the mayor of the capital:
- Zhetigen Street from A. Pushkin Street to Zh. Dosmukhameduly Street - LLP «Sotis Group»;
- Kabanbai Batyr Avenue from Saraishyk Street to Korgalzhin Highway - LLP «Sotis Group»;
- Zhenis Avenue from Yesenberlin Street to Bogenbai Batyr Avenue - LLP «Sotis Group»;
- R. Koshkarbayev Avenue from Kordai Street to M. Tolebayev Street - LLP «Sotis Group»;
- A. Imanov Street from A. Yanushkevich Street to Sh. Valikhanov Street - LLP «Aiya Service»;
- Alash Highway from the overpass to Zholymbet Street - LLP «Aiya Service»;
- Mangilik El Avenue from the M1 bridge to Bukhar Zhyrau Street - LLP «Company Energodor»;
- Enlik Kebek Street from Sultan Beibarys Street to Bolashak Street - LLP «REKMA KZ».
“The contracting organisations responsible for carrying out the repair work on these sections will begin eliminating the defects of the road surface at their own expense in accordance with the warranty obligations. This work will be carried out systematically and upon the arrival of favourable weather conditions”, the statement reads.
At the same time, the Akimat stated that this year it is planned to repair more than 50 streets with a total length of almost 60 km, as well as implementing around 20 large-scale projects, some of which will be completed within the current year.
