The management of the compound feed plant AsiaAgroFood JSC has reported that all employees injured in the flour dust explosion have died.
"With deep pain and sorrow, we announce that as a result of the tragic incident that occurred on 23 May 2025 at the compound feed plant of AsiaAgroFood JSC in the Almaty Region, our colleagues have died," the company's press service reported.
It is noted that, in addition to the insurance payments provided for by law and corporate programmes, the company will provide additional financial assistance to the families of the deceased.
"We are covering all expenses related to funeral arrangements, and will also ensure the full repayment of any potential debts of our departed colleagues. Each family will be provided with psychological and legal support, as well as individual assistance as needed," the statement said.
An investigation into the causes of the incident is currently underway. The company has initiated an internal audit of all technological and organisational processes.
Recall that earlier, a flour dust explosion occurred at the compound feed plant of AsiaAgroFood JSC in the Almaty Region. As a result, one employee died, and three others were taken to the Karasai Central District Hospital in a serious condition.
