The Akimat of Almaty has signed a contract for the maintenance of official vehicles for a period of 10 months — until the end of 2026. The supplier is LLP «Khozyaystvennoye upravleniye goroda Almaty», whose founder is the akimat itself. The contract amount is 978 million tenge.
At the same time, the company has drawn up a separate contract for the purchase of 33 new cars for 699 million tenge. These are two different contracts.
HOW MUCH DOES FLEET MAINTENANCE COST
According to the terms of the contract, the supplier is obliged to provide transport services for the akimat's departments, including drivers working irregular hours, business trips within the Republic of Kazakhstan and prompt vehicle repairs, reports Hronika.kz.
The technical documentation does not specify the exact makes and number of vehicles provided under the contract. It only notes that the cars must be equipped with a climate control system and be in a tidy external condition.
According to data from the service Adata.kz, the fleet of LLP «Khozyaystvennoye upravleniye goroda Almaty» includes 162 vehicles of various makes, including Toyota, Skoda, Mitsubishi, SsangYong, Kia, as well as Land Cruiser.
Thus, maintaining the fleet for 10 months will cost 978 million tenge — about 97.8 million tenge per month.
SECOND CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPLY OF VEHICLES
In early February 2026, LLP «Khozyaystvennoye upravleniye goroda Almaty» also signed a separate contract with LLP «Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan» for the supply of 33 vehicles with a total cost of 699 million tenge.
According to the contract:
- 9 vehicles — with an engine capacity of 2000 cc;
- 17 vehicles — with an engine capacity of 2500 cc;
- 7 vehicles — with an engine capacity of 3000 cc.
The materials do not specify which departments the new vehicles are intended for, nor whether they are replacing existing transport or expanding the fleet.
Thus, the total expenditure on the official vehicle fleet of the Almaty Akimat under these contracts exceeds 1.6 billion tenge.
