In Aktau, a sentence was passed on a kindergarten accountant at Nursery-Kindergarten No. 39 "Khiuaz". She was found guilty of misappropriating budget funds.
According to the press service of the Mangistau Region Prosecutor's Office, she signed bank documents on behalf of the director and illegally transferred more than 9 million tenge to her own accounts.
The court found the accountant guilty and sentenced her to 3 years and 6 months of restriction of liberty.
Recall that in September last year, in the Ulytau region, a conviction was handed down to a nursery-kindergarten accountant who had inflated her own salary from 2021 to 2023. Over 3 years, she transferred more than 15 million tenge to her personal account.
In October, the Inter-District Criminal Court of Astana passed sentence on the head of State Public Enterprise "Nursery-Kindergarten" and her deputy for economic affairs. They were found guilty of misappropriation and embezzlement of entrusted property worth more than 13 million tenge.
In February of this year, the Prosecutor's Office of the Mangistau District in the Mangistau Region uncovered a number of violations during an inspection of preschool institutions. As a result, 111 administrative cases were initiated and fines totalling more than 19 million tenge were issued.
