Prosecutors in the Pavlodar Region have uncovered violations in the implementation of the state programme "Aul – El Besigi"

According to the department's press service, the construction department in Aksu unjustifiably transferred about 500 million tenge for facilities being built under the state programme "Aul - El Besigi".

It is reported that the customer paid the contractor in advance for uncompleted work on the construction of 5 sports and recreation centres. At the same time, the work was running 5 months behind schedule.

"Based on the supervisory report, the Akimat of the city of Aksu is undertaking claims and lawsuit work to recover the overpaid budget funds; to date, 60 million tenge has been returned to the state", the statement reads.

It has become known that the Deputy Akim of Aksu received a disciplinary penalty for the violations committed. The Ethics Council "recommends dismissing the head of the construction department for committing a disciplinary offence that discredits the civil service".
