The prosecutor's office of the Burabay district of the Akmola region has identified a case of non-payment of wages to employees of the State Enterprise "Burabay Su Arnasy".
According to the department's press service, for January of this year, 205 employees of the enterprise were not paid wages totalling 26,784,770 tenge. The reason was that the authorised body did not approve the enterprise's wage fund in a timely manner.
As a result of the prosecutor's office's intervention, the person responsible for the situation – the official from the Department of Housing and Communal Services and Housing Inspection – was held disciplinarily accountable. At the same time, the employees' wages were increased by 10% and paid in full.
