The Almaty Public Development Department plans to train 50 bloggers in the "basics of positive blogging" and promoting state youth development programmes on social media.
According to Kursiv.Media, the department intends to create an Academy for Beginner Bloggers and organise a day-long training session. The project will cost just 800,000 tenge.
At the same time, a community of bloggers is expected to be established to launch patriotic challenges. The creators will be taught how to produce objective reviews of political and public events. To participate in the project, they must have at least 1,000 followers on one social network.
Incidentally, a similar lot worth 597,000 tenge was won last year by the sole proprietorship LUCK, whose head is one Ulbolsyn Tukenova.
It is reported that the company engages in retail trade in markets. Furthermore, it has emerged that the sole proprietorship LUCK has been involved in 9 court cases, 6 of which relate to violations of public procurement legislation.
For context, earlier the State Institution "Department of Public Procurement of the Akimat of Zhambyl Region" published a tender for the placement of advertising and informational publications on social networks worth 23 million tenge.
Additionally, the Almaty Tourism Bureau posted an announcement for the procurement of services to organise press tours for 50 foreign bloggers. The planned expenditure on this was 89,285,710 tenge.
Last year, the Almaty Tourism Bureau also published a similar announcement. At that time, the akimat invited 30 bloggers and spent 60 million tenge on the event.
