Help for regions after floods: who helped and how much

Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev presented a table with the names of entrepreneurs and the amounts of financial aid provided to regions affected by floods.

According to Kazinform MIA, the total amount of funds raised across all affected regions stood at 250.5 billion tenge.

"Many journalists asked us to provide an accurate account of which entrepreneurs helped those affected by the floods and how. This table breaks down, by region, which entrepreneurs have allocated funds and the amounts they have currently provided for purchasing and repairing housing. <…> In addition, some of them have transferred funds to the 'Demeu' and 'Kazakhstan Khalkyna' funds", Bozumbayev stated.

The most money was raised in the North Kazakhstan Region - 58.7 billion tenge, while the smallest amount was in the Akmola Region - 13.3 billion tenge

  • Thus, the following was directed to aid the North Kazakhstan Region: 

40 billion tenge - Vladimir Kim, Eduard Ogay, Oleg Novachuk, 15 billion tenge - Vyacheslav Kim, 2.7 billion tenge – 'Kazakhstan Khalkyna', 1 billion tenge - Sergey Kan. 

  • For the West Kazakhstan Region, the following was raised: 

20 billion tenge - international group of companies Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), 5.7 billion tenge - Galymzhan Yessenov, 5.55 billion tenge - Nurlan Smagulov, 5.5 billion tenge - Bakhytbek Baiseitov, 5 billion tenge - Nurlan Artykbaev, 3.19 billion tenge - 'Kazakhstan Khalkyna', 2.7 billion tenge - Bakhridin Ablazimov, 2 billion tenge - consortium of companies 'Karachaganak Petroleum Operating' (KPO), 1 billion tenge - World Green Company, 1 billion tenge - Aidyn Rakhimbayev, 1 billion tenge - Farrukh Makhmudov, 1 billion tenge - Saidulla Kozhabaev, 1 billion tenge - Bulat Utemuratov, 560 million tenge - JSC 'Kondensat', 560 million tenge - JSC 'Zhayyk Munai'. 

  • For the Atyrau Region: 

30 billion tenge - Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, 7 billion tenge – JSC NC 'KazMunayGas', 2.6 billion tenge – 'Kazakhstan Khalkyna', 1.2 billion tenge - Kenes Rakishev, 1 billion tenge - Aidyn Rakhimbayev, 1 billion tenge - Jusan bank. 

  • For the Aktobe Region: 

15 billion tenge – ERG, 10 billion tenge - Bulat Utemuratov, 2 billion tenge - Aidyn Rakhimbayev, 530 million tenge – 'Kazakhstan Khalkyna', 500 million tenge - Alidar Utemuratov. 

  • For the Kostanay Region: 

4.5 billion tenge – ERG, 3.3 billion tenge - Bazis-A, 3 billion tenge - Andrey Lavrentyev and Yuri Tskhay, 2.46 billion tenge – 'Kazakhstan Khalkyna', 2 billion tenge - Daniyar Abulgazin, 1.46 billion tenge - Kairat Mazhibayev.

  • For the Akmola Region: 

5 billion tenge - Vyacheslav Kim, 3.67 billion tenge – 'Kazakhstan Khalkyna', 3 billion tenge - Kazzinc, 1 billion tenge - Bulat Utemuratov, 500 million tenge - Sergey Kan, 200 million tenge - Aidyn Rakhimbayev. 

At the same time, Kanat Bozumbayev reported that, according to preliminary estimates, infrastructure facilities worth approximately 53 billion tenge were damaged across the country, including 109 sections of roads worth 39.6 billion tenge, 48 social facilities worth roughly 11.7 billion tenge, and electricity supply networks worth 1.5 billion tenge. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that this amount does not include private facilities.
