Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has instructed that inspections be carried out at public catering establishments to ensure compliance with the requirements for storing and using gas cylinders. The corresponding instructions were given to the akimats, the Ministry for Emergency Situations (MES) and the Prosecutor General's Office at a government meeting.
WHAT INSTRUCTIONS THE PRIME MINISTER GAVE
Olzhas Bektenov instructed that control over compliance with safety requirements when using gas cylinders at service sector facilities be strengthened.
"Special attention must be paid to those service sector organisations whose premises are attached to or located within residential buildings," the Prime Minister noted.
The akimats, the MES together with the Prosecutor General's Office have been instructed to conduct inspections of public catering establishments to monitor the conditions for storing and using gas cylinders.
According to the instruction, the inspections should cover issues of compliance with safety requirements when using gas cylinders at service sector facilities.
WHAT WAS ORDERED IN THE AREA OF WORKER PROTECTION
In addition to safety issues regarding the use of gas equipment, Olzhas Bektenov instructed that efforts to ensure social guarantees and insurance protection for workers be strengthened.
Regional akimats together with employers have been instructed to carry out ongoing work on concluding collective agreements.
Also, as the Prime Minister noted, it is necessary to ensure the signing of accident insurance contracts for workers. This applies, among other areas, to the construction industry and the service sector.
