Employees of the Special Rapid Response Unit (SOBR) of the Police Department (DP) of the Atyrau region have filed a complaint against the actions of their commanders. In the appeal, they claim that the unit's leadership allows insults and uses force against subordinates.
WHERE THE COMPLAINT HAS BEEN SENT
The appeal is addressed to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), Yerzhan Sadenov, as well as to the Internal Security Department of the MVD, reports the Telegram channel «HALYQSTAN».
The statement names specific officials: Police Major Yerkebulan Sapanov, as well as company commanders — Police Majors Yerik Karabayev and Nurbakhyt Basarov. According to the complainants, it is these individuals who, in their version of events, allow improper treatment of personnel.

One of the incidents allegedly occurred in mid-February during the performance of duty. According to them, after a verbal conflict, one of the employees received a blow to the head, presumably from a bulletproof vest.

“The fact of a violation of official discipline by a SOBR employee has been confirmed. The employee has been brought to disciplinary responsibility. In addition, an internal investigation has been launched in connection with the improper actions of the unit's leadership. Based on its results, a fundamental assessment will be given,” the department noted.
