In Konaev, a pre-trial investigation has been launched following a conflict between journalist Sandugash Duisenova and a defendant in a fatal road traffic accident case. According to the journalist, the woman tried to take her phone and struck her on the arm.
HOW THE CONFLICT OCCURRED
According to the Telegram channel “HALYQSTAN”, the incident occurred during a break in the court hearing. As Duisenova recounted, the defendant tried to snatch her phone, after which she struck her on the arm. The phone slipped and fell.
After the incident, the journalist contacted the Konaev police department and had injuries to her hands documented.

Following Duisenova’s statement, a pre-trial investigation has been launched.
The circumstances of the conflict and the actions of its participants are to be established during the investigation.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE DEFENDANT
The woman with whom the conflict occurred is involved in a case concerning a fatal road traffic accident on the Almaty — Bishkek motorway. The court previously sentenced her to two and a half years of imprisonment under part 3 of article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (“Violation of road traffic rules resulting in death by negligence”).
As a result of the accident, a 25-year-old man died. The defendant works as a teacher at a school in Karasai district.
