According to the Telegram channel ‘HALYQSTAN’, a resident of Almaty filed a police report. She stated that she arrived in the village of Baiyzhansai together with 4 Chinese citizens, who were considering the possibility of investing in lead-zinc ore mining.
According to the publication, the group was met and accompanied by Yergali Amanbayev. As claimed by the complainant, the deputy later drove the 34-year-old Chinese citizen in his Lexus car to a deserted location, where, according to her account, he engaged in sexual intercourse with her against her will.

WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE SUSPECT
Yergali Amanbayev had previously found himself at the centre of public attention in 2024 after a video was posted on social media showing a Lexus car with a licence plate containing the combination ‘777’.
The footage recorded violations of traffic regulations. The DP of the city of Shymkent later reported that the driver had been held administratively liable under several articles at once. The violations mentioned included the use of fake state registration plates, driving into oncoming traffic, lack of compulsory insurance, failure to wear a seatbelt, reversing in prohibited areas, and failure to comply with the traffic regulation requirement to signal before starting to move.
Later, the court found him guilty and imposed an administrative arrest for a period of 4 days, as well as a ban on driving vehicles for a period of 1 year.
