An altercation broke out between revellers at the «5/15» nightclub in Petropavlovsk, leaving two young men with stab wounds. A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident.
HOW THE CONFLICT UNFOLDED
According to the Telegram channel «HALYQSTAN», the conflict began with a verbal exchange between a 20-year-old man and a minor patron. The argument then descended into a brawl, during which the older participant slapped his opponent.
Security staff and other patrons separated those involved. However, the situation did not end there: the young man who had been slapped left the venue, but then returned to its entrance.
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER HIS RETURN
According to eyewitnesses, when the 20-year-old man tried to re-enter the club, the minor inflicted several stab wounds on him — four to the right thigh area and three to the right shoulder.
A third participant later became involved in the conflict. According to the investigation, he stabbed the minor in the chest. As a result, two of those involved were taken to hospital with stab wounds.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THOSE INVOLVED
The publication notes that one of those involved had previously been convicted on multiple occasions.
The circumstances of the incident continue to be established as part of the investigation.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident under Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan («Hooliganism»). Investigators are set to establish all the circumstances of the night-time conflict and the actions of those involved.
