According to the Ministry of Defence, the fire started at around 19:00 on the technical territory of the military unit. As a result of the dry grass burning, a fragment of an ammunition round detonated.
This concerns the disposal range of military unit No. 44859. After the detonation, the relevant services arrived at the scene. The source of the fire was contained.

The Ministry of Defence stated that the situation is under control. According to official reports, there are no casualties and no damage has been recorded.

CONTEXT
On 24 June 2019, ammunition explosions occurred on the territory of a military unit in Arys. Almost the entire population of the city was evacuated. Four people died as a result of the tragedy, and a further 165 people were injured.
The explosions damaged residential buildings and other structures. Damage was caused to nearly 8,000 residential buildings.
