At one of the facilities of a coal enterprise in the Pavlodar region, a fatal incident occurred.
According to Informburo.kz, the driver of a BelAZ-132 vehicle, who worked for the company «Bogatyr Komir», died.
According to preliminary information, while moving away from the unloading point, the vehicle fell from a ledge. The driver was taken to intensive care, but he could not be saved. The regional labour department has launched an investigation into the incident.
In turn, a blogger from Ekibastuz reported on his Instagram page that, according to his information, the preliminary cause of the tragedy was brake failure.
Earlier, a worker died at a mine of the company «Kazakhmys» in the Ulytau region. The tragedy occurred at the «Zhylandy» mine. A month before this incident, at Mine No. 57 of the East Zhezkazgan mine of the same enterprise, a mine foreman died while carrying out work.
In August last year, in the Karaganda region, a conveyor belt fire occurred at the «Kazakhstanskaya» mine of the coal department of JSC «ArcelorMittal Temirtau», where at that time 227 people were inside the mine, five of whom died.
