The Police Department of Mangystau Region has launched a pre-trial investigation into a road traffic accident involving a Lifan car and fire service vehicle.
WHAT HAPPENED
As reported by the portal Lada.kz, the accident occurred on the night of 18 January on Manat Street, when the fire engine was responding to a call. Upon impact, the emergency vehicle crashed into the fence of a private house and overturned.
CASUALTIES AND INJURIES
As a result of the accident, two people have died. A further five people, including three firefighters, were injured. All of them were taken to medical facilities.
INVESTIGATION
The circumstances and causes of the incident will be established during the pre-trial investigation. The case is under the supervision of the leadership of the Police Department of Mangystau Region.
