The Kazakhstan Football Federation won the tender announced by the Premier League club Shakhtyor from Karaganda.
On the public procurement website, the technical specification of the announcement states that the domestic team was looking for a service provider to conduct “Preparation (training) of football coaches under the UEFA programme” in 2024-2025.
“Requirements for the potential supplier wishing to participate in these public procurements: It must personally comply and/or have contractual obligations with a training organisation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the right to provide training services for UEFA coaching categories (PRO UEFA, B Goalkeeper UEFA, B UEFA, C UEFA) and issue a UEFA coaching category diploma (certificate) upon completion of the training (PRO UEFA, B Goalkeeper UEFA, B UEFA, C UEFA)”, the technical specification states.
The contract amount was 9,352,679 tenge. The service provider must train 8 specialists.
As has become known, the winner of the tender was recognised as the “Association of Legal Entities ‘Kazakhstan Football Federation Association’”.
Incidentally, the federation’s president, Adilet Barmenkulov, previously served as chairman of the board of directors of FC Shakhtyor.
