The government has decided to allocate over 2 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a kindergarten for 280 places in Petropavl.

According to the press service of the department, the facility is planned to be built in the 'Zhas Örken' microdistrict, where there are currently three preschool institutions, which are filled to 100% capacity.

"The construction of the kindergarten will reduce the shortage of places in preschool organisations and improve access to education", the government believes.

It has become known that around 3,000 children are on the waiting list for places in the city's kindergartens, half of whom are aged 2 to 6 years

Recall that in October, it was reported that around 3 billion tenge from the Special State Fund was planned to be allocated for the construction of a sports complex in the village of Zerenda, Akmola Region, and a music school in the village of Temirlan, Turkistan Region

At the same time, Kazakhstan has begun implementing social projects using 12 billion tenge returned to the state. One such project is the construction of a centre of modern culture in Almaty.

In early November, an additional 525 billion tenge was returned to state revenue, which is planned to be directed towards the construction of a sports complex for gifted children for 120 places in Arkalyk, a rehabilitation centre for children with musculoskeletal disorders in Astana, and a training centre for people with special needs for 400 places in Almaty.

Later, it was reported that the government plans to allocate 7.8 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a kindergarten for children with special needs in Aktobe.

In mid-November, more than 28 billion tenge was allocated from this fund for the completion of the construction of a multi-purpose hospital complex in Ridder.
