The Prosecutor's Office of the North Kazakhstan Region seized land worth 29.8 billion tenge from offenders.

Since the beginning of the year, the prosecutor's office of the North Kazakhstan region has identified 75 land plots with a total area of more than 146 thousand hectares that were not used for their intended purpose.

According to the press service of the department, land users in Akzhar, Esil, Timiryazevo, Ualikhanov districts, as well as the district named after G. Musirepov have not used 45 agricultural plots for their intended purpose for a long time.

In Petropavlovsk, an entrepreneur did not use a land plot of 123 hectares, intended for commercial purposes, for three years.

Following acts of prosecutorial supervision, 36 land plots with a total area of 33.2 thousand hectares and a cadastral value of 29.8 billion tenge were returned to state ownership.

"In accordance with the Address of the Head of State dated 2 September 2024, local executive bodies are working to provide the returned lands to conscientious land users. Work in this direction continues," the statement said.

We recall that earlier the prosecutor's office of the Abay region returned 42 thousand hectares of unused land plots to the state, with a cadastral value of 516 million tenge.
