In Aktobe, an employee of the supervisory authority has been detained on suspicion of receiving money to halt a criminal case. The operation was carried out by officers from the central office of the Anti-Corruption Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ACS NSC RK) in cooperation with the internal security department of the General Prosecutor's Office of the RK.
WHAT THE PROSECUTOR IS SUSPECTED OF
According to the Telegram channel «HALYQSTAN», it concerns the receipt of a large sum of money for the closure of a criminal case that occurred in one of the districts of the Aktobe Region.

WHO CARRIED OUT THE DETENTION
The detention was carried out by operatives from the central office of the Anti-Corruption Service of the NSC RK. Officers from the internal security department of the General Prosecutor's Office of the RK also took part in the operation, indicating internal oversight within the supervisory agency.
