The Department of Civil Service Affairs of the Kostanay Region has uncovered instances of illegal employment in rural akimats.
According to the Telegram channel «HALYQSTAN», an inspection revealed that individuals with criminal convictions were appointed to the positions.
"Candidates who are directly prohibited by law from holding public office were allowed to participate in the competition," the statement said.
Violations were identified in two akimats: a leading specialist of the Novoilyinovsky rural district of the Beimbet Maylin district and a chief specialist of the Baigabul rural district of the Amangeldinsky district were appointed.
According to the "On Civil Service" Law, citizens with a criminal record within the last eight years, or those discharged from criminal liability for crimes of medium gravity, cannot be accepted into the civil service.
The results of the competitions were declared illegal and annulled. The appointed employees were dismissed, and the officials who allowed the violations were brought to administrative responsibility.
A similar case occurred last September in Aktau. Then, Tanash Uskenov, convicted of fraud, was appointed director of the MCP "Kaspiy zhylu, su arnasy" (KZhSA). It became known that the court sentenced him and his accomplice to 5 years in a penal colony, but later commuted the sentence to a suspended one.
