The government has allocated more than 2.8 billion tenge from the reserve to complete the reconstruction of Zhezkazgan's heating networks. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov

According to the press service of the department, the wear and tear of the city's heating networks, which are 388 km long, stands at 56.6%

"This negatively affects the heat supply to residential buildings, social facilities, and other sites. During the heating season, resource losses average 35-40%, which prevents new facilities from being connected to the centralised heating system," the statement said.

Given the expansion of the city and the need to provide heat to the new Western District under construction, the initial project was adjusted, increasing the length of the networks to be reconstructed from 11.4 km to 12.3 km.

"The funds of 2.8 billion tenge allocated from the government reserve will allow the project to be fully completed and ensure high-quality preparation of the city's heating networks, serving a population of over 98,000 people, for the new heating season," the department noted.

It is worth recalling that in April, 5 billion tenge were allocated from the government reserve for the construction of hot water supply networks in Kyzylorda. The project, costing 26.2 billion tenge, was planned to be implemented in two stages.
