The Prosecutor's Office of the North Kazakhstan Region has identified numerous violations in procurement by state bodies.

"Cases have been uncovered of untimely appeals to the courts with claims against negligent suppliers, and of failing to forward court rulings that had entered into force, which declared the latter to be dishonest participants", the press service of the department reported.

It is reported that as a result of these actions, 6 dishonest suppliers continued to participate in public procurement and entered into contracts.

For the violations committed, 21 officials were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 207 of the Administrative Code "Violation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on public procurement", which provides for a penalty in the form of a fine ranging from 10 MCI (36,920 tenge) to 200 MCI (738,400 tenge).

Recall that earlier it was reported that in the North Kazakhstan Region, over three months, 11 public procurements worth 3.3 billion tenge were cancelled. 17 officials were held accountable, including 6 for discrediting the civil service. Of these, 3 were dismissed

Also it became known that Mazhilis deputy Bolatbek Nazhimetdenov identified overpayments totalling 569 million tenge in the public procurement of the Ministry of Agriculture. He demanded checks into the public procurement of the ministry.
