The authorised state body unreasonably refused four investors the provision of land plots in the capital.
According to the press service of the Astana prosecutor's office, officials justified the refusals on technical problems in information systems, which allegedly caused distortion of data on land users' plots.
"As a result, investors were unable to obtain land plots for the further implementation of investment projects for a long time", the report says.
Following a prosecutor's supervision order, the investors' problem was resolved, and those responsible were brought to disciplinary account.
"The measures taken helped to continue the implementation of projects for the construction of a workshop for the production of semi-finished products according to 'halal' standards, the construction and operation of a petroleum products warehouse, the operation of a production and warehouse complex, and the production of aerated concrete blocks", the report says.
It is noted that the volume of investment for these projects amounts to 4.1 billion tenge, and their implementation will create more than 240 jobs.
To recall, in October, at the Bayanaul National Park, instances of land grabbing, illegal construction, and the provision of plots without a tender were identified.
In November, in the Merke district of the Zhambyl region, the appellate panel for administrative cases reviewed the case of a strawberry producer who was defending his right to land and nearly lost his business.
After a series of court proceedings, the appellate panel for administrative cases of the regional court decided that there were no grounds to overturn the akimat's decision on granting the plot.
