In Satpayev, the mother of a three-year-old girl reported bullying at the Nurbobek nursery. She claimed that her daughter had been “made an outcast, beaten and abused for about eight months”, and that nursery staff were aware of what was happening but did not respond.
On her Instagram page, the parent published a video recording from the nursery’s security cameras. The footage shows a boy pulling the girl by the hand and throwing her to the floor, after which several other children, following this bad example, approach and begin hitting and tugging at the child.
A nursery worker nearby initially does not intervene, but then stops the conflict.
According to Centralmedia24.kz, the police department of the Ulytau region confirmed that an investigation is underway into the incident.
“The incident has been registered with the police in Satpayev. Investigative actions are being carried out involving all parties connected to the incident, and information is being gathered from nursery staff, parents and witnesses. Based on the results of the investigation, a legal assessment of what happened will be given and measures provided for by law will be taken,” the department reported.
For context, in November in Almaty, an inspection was launched at Nursery No. 29 in the Auezov district after a video circulated on social media showing a nursery teacher using physical force on children. Previously, cockroaches were discovered in the canteen of this institution.
