The Atyrau police are investigating a criminal case following an attack on a child.
According to KTK, an unknown man came to a children's playground, roughly pulled a boy out of a gazebo and struck him in the face several times with his fist. The incident could have ended tragically if passers-by had not intervened. The attacker then fled.
Medics diagnosed the boy with minor bodily injuries. He is currently receiving medical and psychological assistance.
Law enforcement agencies are working to identify the suspect. To this end, CCTV footage is being checked and witnesses are being interviewed.
Earlier, in Shymkent, two students of the "Parasat" college accused the deputy director for educational work, PE teachers and senior students of assault. One of the victims was hospitalised with a concussion.
