To provide free medical care to residents of remote villages and stations, a specialised medical train "Zhardem" will begin service from 20 April. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

"As part of the implementation of the Head of State's instruction to improve access to medical care for residents of remote villages, transport medicine has been organised. The medical train will allow villagers to access a wide range of medical examinations, diagnostic services, and specialist doctors, and they can also receive referrals for hospitalisation," said the Minister of Health.

Thanks to the train, it is planned to provide 1 million medical services this year, including preventive check-ups, screening tests, provision of medicines, consultations with specialist doctors, laboratory and diagnostic services, ECGs, ultrasounds, and fluorography.

As part of its route, the medical train will visit 140 stations. It is planned to provide medical services to more than 92,000 people and conduct around 100,000 consultations

Incidentally, this is not the first time such medical trains have been launched on various routes across the country.
