The head of the Energy and Housing and Utilities Department of the North Kazakhstan Region, Zhanat Sadvokasov, spoke about technical disruptions during the past heating season.
According to the Kazinform news agency, Sadvokasov reported that there were 178 technical disruptions on the heating networks that season. During the previous winter, there were 158. At Petropavlovsk CHPP-2, 41 disruptions were recorded at that time, which is 15 fewer than last year.
At the same time, it became known that on days when the air temperature dropped to minus 30-40 degrees, residents of the district centres of Bulayevo, Malyutka and the village of Peterfeld, which receive thermal energy from the city CHP plant, complained about low temperatures in their homes.
"On the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, it is necessary to ensure full readiness of all engineering infrastructure and housing and utilities facilities by September 15. An operational headquarters for the preparation and passage of the heating season and a plan for its work have been formed and approved. Preparations at Petropavlovsk CHPP-2 are proceeding on schedule. JSC 'SEVKAZENERGO' will allocate 17.6 billion tenge for repair work. Major repairs of two boiler units and two turbine units, reconstruction of boiler unit No. 2 and turbine unit No. 1, repair of chimney No. 2, and construction of chimney No. 1 will be carried out.", Sadvokasov reported.
Furthermore, JSC 'North Kazakhstan Regional Power Grid' will allocate 3.3 billion tenge for the repair and reconstruction of 402.6 km of power supply networks and 54 substations. LLP 'Kokshetau Energy' will spend 1.8 billion tenge on repairing 1,070 km and 186 substations. LLP 'Petropavlovsk Heat Networks' will allocate 1.4 billion tenge for the repair and reconstruction of 7 km of heating networks.
"Last year, construction began on two heating mains: No. 5 in the 'Orman' microdistrict with the reconnection of the Borki settlement, and No. 15 on Promyshlennaya-Zhukov Street. For these purposes, 2.4 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget. It is a two-year project, and it is planned to be completed before the start of the heating season this year.", added Zhanat Sadvokasov.
Recall, earlier it became known that the government allocated about 16 billion tenge from the reserve for the reconstruction and major repairs of heat sources in Kentau, Ridder and Kyzylorda.
