The FBRC editorial team continues to analyse the latifundists of the Karaganda region.
SPC "BIRLESTIK 2016"
Agricultural production cooperative "Birlestik 2016" (breeding of other cattle and buffaloes) was registered in 2016. The first director and one of the founders is Khairolla Akimov, co-founders: Ardak Akimova and Askhat Akimov.
Khairolla Akimov is also a participant in LLP "Credit Partnership "Shetkomek". Askhat Akimov appears in LLP "Merei LTD 2020". Ardak Akimova owns sole proprietorship "Akimova A.K."
SPC "Birlestik 2016" has a medium risk level for tax obligations. For 2023, the company paid 240.7 thousand tenge in taxes (in 2022 – 375 thousand tenge, in 2021 – 234 thousand tenge, in 2020 – 262 thousand tenge).
DAUREN KOZHAMBERDIN
According to information from the Department of Land Relations of the Karaganda Region, another land user is one Dauren Kozhamberdin, who owns Farm "Bakytbek" (former name "Kyzyltau").
According to data from Kompra.kz, two organisations are registered to Dauren Kozhamberdin: Farm "Bakytbek" and Farm "Bakytbek". Both farms are engaged in cattle breeding and buffaloes and have a medium risk level for tax obligations.
LLP "AITAS-2002"
LLP "Aitas-2002" (breeding of sheep and goats) was registered in 2002. The first director and founder is Assel Sagynbekova.
The LLP has a medium risk level for tax obligations. For 2023, the company paid only 69 thousand tenge in taxes (in 2022 – 72 thousand tenge, in 2021 – 54 thousand tenge, in 2020 – 61 thousand tenge).
At the same time, Sagynbekova herself is a debtor under enforcement proceedings with JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation", LLP "Business House "Alma-Ata" and LLP "Microfinance Organisation "Shinhan Finance" in the amount of approximately 156.4 million tenge.
MUKHANALIYEV B.K.
Another of the largest land users, according to the Department of Land Relations, is a certain "Farm Mukhanaliyev B.K.".
In the Karaganda region, there are two farms with similar names: Farm "Mukhanaliyev B K", belonging to Boranbai Mukhanaliyev and Farm "Mukhanaliyev Beimbet Kasymbekovich", obviously belonging to Beimbet Mukhanaliyev.
Unfortunately, the Department did not clarify which of the two brothers was meant, and therefore it is difficult to say which of them owns 23.4 thousand hectares in the region. Both farms are engaged in horse breeding. At the same time, Beimbet Mukhanaliyev's farm has a low, and Boranbai Mukhanaliyev's farm a medium risk level for tax obligations.
ASKAR ZHUMAGULOV
Also, according to information from the Department of Land Relations, another land user is one Askar Zhumagulov. According to open sources, in the city of Zhezkazgan, Karaganda region, there was an entrepreneur Zhumagulov Askar Tleukhanovich.
However, today Zhezkazgan belongs to the territory of the Ulytau region. According to official data, A.T. Zhumagulov has a sole proprietorship in the Ulytau region and is the owner of a capital LLP.
Most likely, the authorities have outdated data on land users. It is worth noting that departments are not providing us with correct data on land users for the first time, particularly regarding company names. This, in turn, complicates the search for information.
Let us remind you, the FBRC editorial team is analysing the dynamics of the largest land users in Kazakhstan in order to find out how much agricultural land has been taken away from them recently.
Having familiarised ourselves with the territories of Pavlodar, Kostanay, Akmola, North Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions it is obvious that no global changes have occurred in the landholdings of the latifundists, and some have even acquired additional hectares.
