The prosecutor's office of the Terengkol district in the Pavlodar region has identified the unjustified allocation of pastures covering 1,552 hectares to the peasant farm (PF) "Wilhelm" for a period of 20 years.
"The Department of Land Resources, based on the supervisory report of the district prosecutor's office, filed a lawsuit to invalidate the land lease agreements. By a decision of the specialised inter-district economic court of the region, the department's claim was dismissed", reports the press service of the Pavlodar regional prosecutor's office.
At the same time, the court did not take into account that the plot could not have been allocated, as it belongs to a populated area and is intended only for grazing livestock belonging to the local population.
As a result, following an appeal by the Pavlodar regional prosecutor's office, the court's decision was overturned, the claim was upheld, and land valued at 2.1 billion tenge was returned to the state.
