The Prosecutor's Office of the Turkestan Region returned a hunting area of 4,400 hectares to the state.
According to the press service of the department, in December 2019, the regional akimat issued a resolution granting land for the management of a hunting enterprise.
Based on the act, the Department of Natural Resources and SCAT Airlines JSC entered into a lease agreement for the above-mentioned hunting area for 20 years.
"According to paragraph 3 of the agreement, the user is obliged to make timely payments for the land in the manner established by tax legislation. However, SCAT Airlines JSC has not made tax contributions to the budget for the use of the land plot since the conclusion of the agreement", the statement says.
Based on the prosecutor's act, the Department of Natural Resources terminated the agreement, thereby returning the land to state ownership.
Questions arise: for what purposes did the airline acquire the hunting area and how was it granted to them?
