The electronic system used in specialised service centres for the population of Kazakhstan is experiencing malfunctions.
According to informburo.kz, visitors to the Special Service Centres (SpetsTsONs) today faced problems when obtaining driving licences. As stated by the state corporation, system failures are occurring across the country.
"The problem is occurring on the side of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We apologise for the temporary inconvenience," the 'Government for Citizens' reported.
It should be noted that at the beginning of March, malfunctions in the operation of the electronic system of the Special Service Centres were already observed across the country. At that time, this was linked to the transition of Kazakhstan's regions to a new time zone.
For context, it was also previously reported that over three years, 60,000 driving licences were illegally issued at the Special Service Centres in Kazakhstan.
