"The LLP 'KBR-Technologies', registered in Kazakhstan, sent hundreds of shipments to the companies 'Fabcenter', Ostec-Arttool Ltd, Ostec-SMT Ltd and Ostec-Integra Ltd. The co-founder of 'KBR-Technologies' is a long-time employee of Yevgeny Kostyuk, who is under US sanctions and the owner of one of the former largest suppliers of the OSTEK group", the US Department of Commerce statement said.

It has become known that the LLP "KBR-Technologies" is registered in Petropavlovsk. A certain Dias Tugunbayev is listed as the head of this firm. The company was founded in 2022, and during this time its representatives paid 93.8 million tenge in taxes to the budget.

According to the independent publication "VYorstka", "KBR-Technologies", together with the Belarusian company "Tefida", participated in a scheme to circumvent anti-Russian sanctions. In 2023, "Tefida", on behalf of "KBR-Technologies", supplied equipment for the production of electronic components worth $5 million to the "OSTEK" group and its related companies.

It is reported that "KBR-Technologies" is linked to the German company BMA Spedition, which was involved in supplying equipment from Europe to Russia for the military industry.

According to journalists, after the sanctions, cargo was officially sent to Petropavlovsk, but it never reached its destination - all the equipment was delivered to Moscow.
