In Astana, a technical floor converted into residential apartments will be demolished.

According to the city administration, the developer «Elímai City» Housing Cooperative (HC) carried out construction and installation work deviating from the project, specifically converting the technical floor into residential apartments.

As a result, the Astana Urban Environment Control and Quality Department drew up an administrative offence report against the developer and issued an order to rectify the violations.

In addition, the department filed a claim with the Specialised Inter-District Economic Court of Astana (SIDEC) to remedy the identified violations in order to bring the property into compliance with the project.

"To date, the developer, in execution of the SIDEC decision, is carrying out measures to dismantle the illegally erected enclosing structures in order to bring the residential complex into compliance with the project documentation. In total, 12 apartments are being dismantled in two blocks of the residential complex under construction. The residential complex is located in the Nura district at the intersection of Korgalzhyn Highway and E127 Street," the statement reads.
