A court in Shymkent has ordered the demolition of the amusement park "Qial Alemi", which was illegally built on rented land instead of a children's centre. During the park's operation, people died there, and all structures were operated without the necessary permits.

According to the press service of the city courts, in 2011 a limited liability company (LLC) rented a plot of 4 hectares in a Shymkent park, but instead of the promised children's centre, the lessee set up the "Qial Alemi" amusement park there.

It is noted that in recent years, this location has seen fires and tragic incidents, resulting in the deaths of two students and one man.

The Shymkent city administration, citing a breach of lease terms, filed a lawsuit seeking to have the contract declared invalid.

Ultimately, the authorised bodies ordered the company to return the plot to municipal ownership. The city mayor also filed a lawsuit demanding the demolition of the structures built in the park at the LLC's expense and the restoration of the plot to its original condition.

It is noted that the company did not provide evidence of the registration of acceptance certificates for the operation of the rides, swings, and other structures.

The court upheld the mayor's claim and ordered the LLC to vacate the illegally occupied plot of 4 hectares, restoring it to its original state. The ruling has not yet entered into force.
