The internet broadcasting of Kazakhstan's operator of paid cable and satellite television AlmaTV has been subjected to multi-layered cyber attacks.

On 9 May, during a live broadcast of the Moscow Victory Day Parade, anti-Russian clips were broadcast on television, according to media reports

Social media reported that horrific footage of military operations was shown on air, as well as a video featuring Russian President Vladimir Putin

It is reported that AlmaTV specialists responded promptly to the incident and took the necessary measures to restore the service's functionality.

It is noted that the service has now been fully restored and is operating normally. The company apologised to its customers for the temporary inconvenience.
