According to the press service of the agency, he is suspected of misappropriating 930 thousand tenge from an entrepreneur. It is reported that the deputy head obtained the money under the pretext of ensuring the smooth acceptance of documents and access to driving school exams for obtaining a driving licence.
“The investigation is ongoing. In accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code, other information is not subject to disclosure in the interests of the investigation”, the statement says.
It will be recalled that earlier in Astana, workers of the Specialised Service Centre (SpetsTsON), police officers and civilians who were involved in the illegal registration of vehicles imported from abroad without paying fees and duties were convicted.
At the same time, it became known that in the Akmola region a police officer and the director of a Limited Liability Partnership were convicted for a simple vehicle scheme. For more than a year, they illegally registered cars imported from abroad. The damage amounted to 380 million tenge.
