In the Pavlodar Region, police have identified a group of individuals suspected of illegally trading birds listed in the Red Book. According to the investigation, the birds were captured on the territory of the Bayanaul State National Park. Among those detained are employees of the national park.
RESULTS OF INSPECTIONS ON THE TERRITORY OF THE NATIONAL PARK
Since the start of the investigation, 17 searches have been conducted, during which more than 40 birds, 5 firearms, around 200 rounds of ammunition, as well as equipment for keeping and transporting the birds were seized. In addition, several units of throwing and bladed weapons were discovered, reports Polisia.kz.
The preliminary amount of damage caused to the state exceeds 120 million tenge.
COURSE OF THE INVESTIGATION
A pre-trial investigation is underway. All detained individuals have been arrested.
