Expensive watches with alligator leather straps and diamond-set jewellery have been returned to the state. However, who their owner was has not been disclosed.
According to Kursiv.media, among the most expensive accessories are:
- The Ulysse Nardin Classic 789-80 watch, made from platinum with an alligator leather strap. The dial features figures handcrafted from aventurine and 18-carat gold. Price: 214.4 million tenge;
- The Franck Muller Geneve watch made from 18-carat rose gold with sapphire crystal glass. The dial is adorned with rubies, sapphires and tsavorites. Price: 29.2 million tenge;
- The Ulysse Nardin Archive Freak Cruiser watch made from 18-carat white gold with an alligator leather strap and gold inserts. It has a defect - a scratch on the case. Price: 29 million tenge;
- The Breguet 882U No. 3271 watch made from gold with sapphire crystal glass. There are minor damages to the case and strap. Price: 10.4 million tenge;
- A set of jewellery consisting of a pair of earrings, a pendant on a chain and two rings, made from platinum with large diamonds. Price: 85 million tenge.
The company managing the recovered assets did not disclose to whom the premium accessories belonged. This is likely because the authority is obliged to ensure the preservation and confidentiality of information regarding the recovered assets.
As a reminder, at the end of September, LLP «Company for the Management of Recovered Assets» (KURA) put up for auction 19 exclusive items: jewellery, wristwatches and collectible coins for a total amount of over 414 million tenge.
The most expensive lot was the aforementioned Ulysse Nardin Classic 789-80 wristwatch. It was reported at the time that the model is part of a limited series of wristwatches consisting of 30 pieces.
