In Almaty, the elite residential complex «Esentai City» has been disconnected from the electricity supply due to large debts. According to the media, the disconnection was carried out at the request of AlmatyEnergoSbyt LLP.
"The management company of the specified residential complex was given additional time to pay off the debt, however, no action was taken", the press service of JSC «Alatau Zharyk Kompaniyasy» (AZhK) reported.
At the same time, AZhK commented on the power outage in the Almaly District, which city residents had previously reported.
"There was a scheduled disconnection, ongoing routine maintenance work at transformer substations; the schedule is posted on the website a week in advance", the energy company reported.
AZhK also reminded that on their website you can view an interactive map of electricity outages in the city.
It is surprising that the residents of the elite residential complex could not find the money to settle their electricity debt.
