The head of government Olzhas Bektenov expressed concern about problematic properties built by the construction company G-Park, which is managed by former maslikhat deputy Gabit Satmagambetov.

As reported by media, the prime minister believes the future of many construction projects is worrying due to documentation issues.

"In the capital, the company G-Park is building seven residential buildings without permits. Yet around 3,500 families have invested their money in them. Additionally, in Astana, the residential complex 'Arabi-2 — Granitny-2' was identified as problematic over ten years ago. Around 200 families cannot get housing," noted the head of government.

According to the Ministry of Industry, a total of more than 340 cases of illegal construction have been registered across the country. In Bektenov's view, this is largely the result of failings by the local executive bodies (akimats).

In light of the ongoing problem with unfinished construction projects, the prime minister instructed the Ministry of Industry and the akimats to inspect developers for legality of construction and the availability of necessary documents by the start of June. He also ordered strict oversight of the commissioning of residential buildings.

In turn, Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapayev stated that, based on an analysis conducted by his department, 581 shared-equity construction projects were identified in the republic.

Furthermore, it emerged that 421 projects are being built without permission to attract shareholders' funds, including: 125 in Mangystau region, 76 in Aktobe region, 45 in Almaty, 38 in Atyrau region, 36 in Akmola region, 26 in Astana, 19 in Zhambyl region, 14 in Shymkent, 13 in Karaganda region, 10 in Almaty region, 7 in East Kazakhstan region, 7 in North Kazakhstan region, 3 in Abai region, 1 in Zhetysu region, and 1 in Ulytau region.
