In Uralsk, during the renovation of Dinara Nurpeisova Street — known as the local Arbat — the benches installed just two years ago were replaced. At the time, 5 million tenge was allocated from the budget for their installation: 15 benches cost 333 thousand tenge each.

According to the publication "My City", as part of the current renovation on Nurpeisova Street, 16 new benches have been installed. The contractor is KazTradeDevelopment LLP. The total cost of the renovation work amounted to 165 million tenge. The project includes replacing paving stones, installing lighting, benches, and bins.

Previously, similar benches were also installed on Syrym Datov Street. However, less than two years later, the structures turned out to be "unwanted" — it was decided to replace them with new ones.

According to the city administration, the old benches were not written off: they were moved to city parks and gardens — including to the 4th microdistrict and Derkul village.
