Funds from the government reserve have been allocated for the construction and repair of 8 road sections in the Atyrau region. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.

"The document provides for the allocation of approximately 5.9 billion tenge from the government's emergency reserve to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan for transfer to the budget of the Atyrau region for the restoration of roads damaged by floods," the press service of the department reported.

Of these funds, 4.6 billion tenge were allocated for the restoration of 7 sections of regional roads, including "Inder – Karabau – Sagiz", access roads to the village of Karabau, "Sarytogai – Makhambet", "Atyrau – Inder", as well as pavements in the city of Kulsary.

About 1.3 billion tenge will be allocated for the construction of a bridge and culvert pipes on the "Inder – Karabau – Miyaly – Sagiz" road, which was also damaged by the flood.

It is noted that the floods caused serious damage to 11 road sections and damage to culvert pipes on 5 sections.

Recall that in July it was reported that 42 million tenge were allocated for the restoration of the dam destroyed during the flood in Petropavlovsk.

At the same time, it became known that 7.5 billion tenge were allocated for the restoration of educational institutions in regions affected by the spring floods.

Additionally, the Government of Kazakhstan allocated a further 22.7 billion tenge from the emergency reserve to eliminate the consequences of the floods and restore damaged infrastructure facilities.

It was noted that the funds would be directed to the akimats for the restoration and construction of roads and bridges, as well as culvert structures in the Akmola, Aktobe, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions.

Also, the government reported that after the floods, 12 billion tenge were allocated from the reserve to compensate for business property losses.
