The youngest daughter of the former president Aliya Nazarbayeva has ended her marriage to the former CEO of KazTransOil JSC Dimash Dosanov. The court decision came into force in November.
According to Ulysmedia.kz, the media had reported on the couple's separation as early as last year. At the time, it was reported that Dosanov had allegedly returned to his ex-wife.
In addition to filing for divorce, Aliya Nazarbayeva and Dimash Dosanov asked the court to determine the place of residence of their two joint children.
It is noted that Aliya Nazarbayeva has been married three times. In an interview with journalists, she said that Dosanov had built his career at KazMunayGas independently, starting from entry-level positions and reaching a high level.
It has become known that Dimash Dosanov headed KazTransOil from 2016, and before that he was the CEO of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP.
Recall that in February, businessmen Medgat Kaliyev and Nurlan Bimurzin reported that they had become victims of a corporate raid attack by Aliya Nazarbayeva and the wife of the former Chairman of the Constitutional Council, Valentina Rogova.
According to Bimurzin, Nazarbayeva seized an existing business worth $170 million (according to 2003 estimates) consisting of seven oil depots and 96 petrol stations.
It was reported that initially the police refused to open a criminal case regarding the corporate raid. However, the prosecutor's office overturned the law enforcement decision and referred the case materials to the Department of Economic Investigations.
In June, lawyers for Aliya Nazarbayeva applied to the court to have Kaliyev and Bimurzin prosecuted for slander, but the court dismissed the case due to the absence of corpus delicti.
