In Aktobe, residents lost 2.5 billion tenge when buying flats. They became victims of unscrupulous developers.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been completed on this matter under Article 190, Part 4, Paragraph 2 and Article 279, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (theft of someone else's property through deception or abuse of trust, as well as violation of rules or requirements in the field of construction activities).
"From 2019 to 2023, the head of the residential complex 'Safina', K., and the director of one of the partnerships, A., by deception under the pretext of providing flats in multi-storey residential buildings under construction, located in the 12th microdistrict and 'Altyn Orda' in the city of Aktobe, took possession of shareholders' funds amounting to 2.5 billion tenge", the statement reads.
The department also reported that the Aktobe prosecutor's office has sent the criminal case against two suspects to City Court No. 2.
