In Almaty, a man suffered a second-degree chemical burn to his oesophagus after consuming a drink delivered from a café. He was hospitalised in the Central City Clinical Hospital with a diagnosis of "poisoning by an unidentified substance". The patient's condition is assessed as stable.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan has taken the situation under control following the explosion in Shchuchinsk.

A gas cylinder explosion occurred in a café in the town of Shchuchinsk, Akmola Region. Seven people died and 28 were injured. The Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan audited the activities of JSC "Centre for Electronic Finance" for 2020–2024. Financial violations totalling 566 million tenge, inefficient use of funds amounting to 764 million tenge, and ineffective planning worth 12.7 billion tenge were identified.
