The Akimat of the Daryinsk Rural District in the West Kazakhstan Region (WKR) plans to purchase 10 pairs of skis at a total cost of 1 million 118 thousand tenge. According to the district akim, Tlek Kakenov, the equipment is intended for employees of the akimat office.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE PURCHASE
According to the publication «Uralskaya Nedelya», an announcement about the purchase of 10 pairs of skis has been posted on the government procurement website by the akimat of the Daryinsk Rural District. The cost of one pair is 111,896 tenge, and the purchase itself is scheduled for July.
As explained by the district akim, Tlek Kakenov, the skis are being purchased for sports activities for the akimat employees.
WHAT BUDGET DOES THE DISTRICT HAVE
The total budget of the Daryinsk Rural District is 146.6 million tenge. Of this amount, 116 million tenge, or 79.4%, is allocated to the salaries of 26 employees of the akimat office and the maintenance of the administrative building.
It is reported that the average salary of the office staff is 198,000 tenge.
The remaining needs of the district, which includes the villages of Daryinsk and Ozerny with a total population of 6,500 people, amount to about 30 million tenge, or 20.6% of the budget.
WHAT ELSE WERE FUNDS SPENT ON
It is noted that earlier, 9 million tenge was spent on the manufacture of a metal arch at the entrance to Daryinsk and a light installation with the inscription «I love Dariyan».
Furthermore, 739,000 tenge was allocated for the purchase of petrol, 600,000 tenge for the repair of a service vehicle, 180,000 tenge for the purchase of an office chair, and 1.8 million tenge for aesthetic and festive decoration services.
WHAT ISSUES ARE RESIDENTS RAISING
The author of the publication, who lives in Daryinsk, highlighted a number of problems that, she says, persist in the locality. Among them, she mentioned power outages due to an old transformer, difficulties with water supply, the condition of the roads, overgrown grass verges, as well as the lack of speed bumps near schools and kindergartens.
