In Kyzylorda, the reconstruction of a park named after former president Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to cost 13,120,508,659 tenge.

On the public procurement portal, the lot description states that the customer is KGU "Kyzylorda City Department of Housing and Utilities, Passenger Transport and Roads" of the Kyzylorda akimat.

"The territory is located in the south-western part of the city. Currently, the park has old, non-residential architectural structures, streams and small architectural forms, as well as several species of trees and flower beds. The central part is a vacant, undeveloped area with no green spaces. To date, the park lacks any modern architectural appearance. According to the new conceptual design, the area will feature modern infrastructure and comfortable conditions for walking and recreation", the technical specification states.

Bids for the tender will be accepted from 8 to 24 January 2025.

It was previously reported that in 2025, Almaty plans to allocate 10.6 billion tenge for environmental projects. One of the priority areas will be the greening of the city. The corresponding draft budget for 2025-2027 is scheduled to be considered at the upcoming departmental session.
