An incident occurred in Ust-Kamenogorsk on public transport, involving alleged harassment of minors. The situation led to intervention by other passengers and an investigation by the police.
WHAT HAPPENED ON THE BUS
According to the Telegram channel «HALYQSTAN», a man in the city bus was harassing underage girls. For their safety, they were forced to leave the bus earlier than their stop.
It is noted that another passenger — a young man — intervened. He began drawing the attention of those around him and openly accused the man of unacceptable behaviour.
According to eyewitnesses, a tense atmosphere arose in the bus, which nearly escalated into a fight. The young man tried to confront the alleged offender.
The conductor, for her part, tried to prevent a conflict and did not allow the man to be forcibly removed from the bus.
POLICE RESPONSE
The Police Department of the East Kazakhstan Region (DP EKR) reported that police officers are currently identifying those involved and establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
