In Aksu, Pavlodar Region, operatives detained a man suspected of illegal drug trafficking. During a search, they seized 11 kg of plant-based narcotics, which is classified as an exceptionally large amount. The court authorised the suspect's arrest.
HOW THE DETENTION UNFOLDED
Officers from the organised crime unit of the Pavlodar Region Police Department carried out a series of special operational measures, coordinated by the Pavlodar Region Prosecutor's Office.
As a result of the operation in the city of Aksu, a man was detained, and during a search, plant-based narcotic substances with a total weight of 11 kg were discovered and seized from him.
WHAT CASE HAS BEEN OPENED
In connection with the illegal drug trafficking, investigative authorities have opened a criminal case under an article that provides for liability for illegal acquisition, storage, transportation for the purpose of sale, dispatch, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogues.
As reported by Gabit Kabdrakhmanov, head of the organised crime unit of the Pavlodar Region Police Department, the court authorised a measure of restraint in the form of arrest for the suspect.
